The kids and I went to a nearby park yesterday. We stayed only about an hour because it was SUPER hot! After running around for just a little while, the girls' faces looked beet red! They had fun, anyway, of course. Zoe and Izzy enjoyed swinging on the tarzan rope and on the tire swings. Peyton liked the slides the best. And Izzy was able to climb up the rope wall--I was impressed! Tommy and I enjoyed the covered benches that we could rock back and forth--a nice way to keep out of the sun! Tommy also went on the swings for the first time. I didn't quite trust the chain, so I barely swung him. He didn't pay too much attention to it; he was mostly interested in trying to chew on the chain.
