The girls and I did a spooky candle craft for Halloween this year. We took black construction paper and tore it into little strips. Then, we took Mod Podge and glued the strips, leaving some open spaces, to glass candle jars. After this was done, we took a Sharpie and drew eyeballs wear there was empty space. Then, I coated the whole jars with the Mod Podge to seal the paper. When, you put a candle in and light it, the eyes glow and it looks like monsters are peering out from cracks around the jar (or, that was the intent, anyway). We had fun!
