A Lot to be Thankful For

This Thanksgiving, hubby, kids, and I spent a few days at my parents' house and we really had a wonderful time. We had a wonderful meal--the standouts were Mom's stuffing with Italian sausage (I didn't try it b/c, as a rule, I don't care for stuffing), Samantha's Cranberry Relish (Dad said she and I went after it like a couple of buzzards!), and my (thank you, thank you) Praline Cheescake. We played board games--Scrabble (America's good time game!) and Monopoly (which, much to my Dad's dismay, I actually won). Zoe and Izzy put on a mime show that they made up. The girls played outside a little bit, as well. Tommy was his usual, adorable self, and was very well-mannered for his first time overnight away from home. We all talked and played..and we laughed and laughed!
