Who is John Galt?

In light of the recent bail-out and the call for more bail-outs, I can't help but think of Ayn Rand and, for any who knows me, one of my all-time favorites, Atlas Shrugged. And, I wonder, what would Ayn think of these bail-outs and the current condition of our economy. And, who is John Galt? Barack?
