Bowling Party

For Z's tenth birthday, she had a bowling party. She invited five friends, all of whom attended. The kids had pizza, pop, cake, and candy, bowled, and played arcade games. Needless to say, they had a blast! The adults had fun, too! My dad, my hubby, my brother and even my grandma and I bowled. I sucked. I was nervous about the party and had a hard time getting into my bowling groove--I know, that sounds like a cop-out, doesn't it? Anwyay, it was a great party. I love a party like that--very little clean up, the food was provided by the bowling alley, and I didn't have to entertain the kids. I will definitely do a bowling party again for my other girls (or even for myself)! Oh, and I have to give a shout out to the Meijer bakery. Really, the cake I ordered for Z was the most delicious yellow cake I have ever had. It was moist and flavorful, and I even thought the frosting was good--usually I scrape the frosting off of store bought cakes. Meijer will be my birthday cake go-to from now on!
