Where do Stars Come From?

My oldest daughter wrote this myth the other day, and I just had to post it for all to see. I was struck by the simple beauty of it and the message I believe one can get from it. It is, mechanically speaking, imperfect. And, I did not fix it, it is posted below exactly how my ten-year old composed it. Enjoy...

Where do Stars Come From?

The first time a baby laughs, a stars gets its place in the sky. The greatest star is the biggest and farby the brightest star in the sky--it is the sun! The sun came from the baby Jesus. All the stars come in place. For example, the frst baby who laughed was the first star to come out. And a group of stars like the Big Dipper is a group of family members put together to make a picture. There are so many different kinds of stars. Everyone who has at least laughed once has a star in the sky. If your star is a shooting star, that means that you need to laugh and your star is gone, and you can make another one by laughing again. Even a little giggle will make your star come back. Your star equals your happiness, and your happiness, believe it or not, is actually pretty important. So, keep happy and your star will be in teh sky forever!
