This is was truly one of the best I've had since I was a kid. We had a big family gathering at my parent's house. I put together an Easter egg hunt for my kiddos and my cousin's sons. The kids hunted for eggs with candy inside and eggs with little notes inside that directed them to choose a certain number of prizes from the treasure box. I filled a Rubbermaid tub with little toys and candy--treasure box! I made special eggs for Tommy filled with raisins, animal crackers and cheerios--too little for candy. All the kids had a great time finding the eggs. My mom and Grandma cooked a wonderful dinner, and I made some awesome cupcakes, if I do say so myself! We also dyed eggs altogether, my dad still loves dying eggs, like he did when I was a kid. Family time is so precious! My family makes me SO happy!!!
