Last Saturday, Peyton, Izzy, Tommy and I headed to the Rolling Prairie Library for Breakfast with Santa (and Mrs. Claus). The Clauses told stories to the kids, a light breakfast was served and then, each child got to sit on Santa's lap and tell him their Christmas wishes. Peyton and Isabelle both did so. Tommy...not so much. He screamed and flailed at the sight of Santa! And, though, he snatched the candy that Mrs. Claus offered him, he would not go near the jolly old elf!
"Making the decision to have a child is momentous. It is to decide forever to have your heart go walking around outside your body." ~Elizabeth Stone "The family - that dear octopus from whose tentacles we never quite escape, nor, in our inmost hearts, ever quite wish to." ~Dodie Smith
