For Peyton's 5th birthday, I made a funfetti cake, we had a nice dinner, gorged on cake and ice cream. Then, Peyton opened her presents. The next day, we made a "fairyland canopy." This was the lowkey, weekday celebration. The real party is Sunday. She is having a Wizard of Oz themed party! We we also be going to a movie of her choice (kid-appropriate, of course). I take each of the girls to a movie for their birthdays. I believe Peyton's will be Where the Wild Things Are this year.
